In keeping with our commitment to transparency, we are making this guidance publicly available to empower Marylanders with access to important legal information.
Attorney General Anthony G. Brown has recently provided updated guidance to key Maryland institutions, including schools, law enforcement agencies, and healthcare facilities, to clarify their responsibilities under federal and state laws. These documents help ensure compliance with legal requirements while protecting individual rights and maintaining public trust.
The Office of the Attorney General remains committed to upholding the rule of law, protecting the rights of all Marylanders, and ensuring that our state institutions operate with clarity and accountability. By making these resources available, we reaffirm our commitment to transparency and the protection of all who call Maryland home. We envision a Maryland where every Marylander lives in a safe, healthy community with equal opportunity and protections under the law.
