The 2024 Open Enrollment period for health and dental insurance through Maryland Health Connection has ended. If you have special circumstances, you may still be eligible to apply for  coverage under a special enrollment period.

Need in-person help with Maryland Health Connection?

Maryland residents can apply for health insurance and financial help to pay the cost of insurance with free, in-person assistance from a navigator, insurance broker or other in-person assistor in their community. ​

You can apply for Medicaid year-round.
Our Health Education and Advocacy Unit can assist consumers who have enrollment disputes involving private health plans. Visit www.marylandcares.org  for free help with an enrollment dispute.
