An applicant seeking to register as a structured settlement transferee must use the following forms. Detailed instructions regarding the application process can be found on the first page of the Application form.
The fee for initial registration as a structured settlement transferee is $2,000. Upon registration with the Office of the Attorney General, structured settlement transferees must promptly fulfill the bonding requirement set forth in Maryland law. See Md. Code Ann., Cts. & Jud. Proc. sec. 5-1109. Registrants shall file with the Office of the Attorney General an irrevocable letter of credit or a surety bond in the amount of $100,000, or deposit $100,000 with the Office of the Attorney General.
