A currently-registered structured settlement transferee must use the following forms to apply for renewal of registration. Detailed instructions regarding the renewal application process can be found on the first page of the Application form.
The fee to renew registration as a structured settlement transferee is $2,000. Structured settlement transferees must fulfill the bonding requirement set forth in Maryland law. See Md. Code Ann., Cts. & Jud. Proc. § 5-1109. Upon renewal of registration, registrants must ensure that they have on file with the Office of the Attorney General a current irrevocable letter of credit or a current surety bond in the amount of $100,000, or that they have deposited $100,000 with the Office of the Attorney General.
